ASRL Truck Series Information

Series Info:

  The ASRL Truck Series is a division of the American SIM Racing League
  Thursday Nights -- Practice 8:00 EST -- Qualifying 9:00 EST
  NASCAR Racing 2003 Season -- NCTS 2009 V1.1
  30-35% Distance -- 2x Tire Wear -- Realistic Damage -- Fixed Weather (70° - Clear)
  Setups -- Fixed Setups (Expert when available, fast if not)
  Cautions & Double File Restarts On (Except Road Courses) 
  Views and Aids Open (Non-Hardcore)  
  Lucky Dog Rule will be used. Rules are as follows:

Lucky Dog Rule:

The first car one lap down will be considered the Lucky Dog Driver. The Lucky dog will automatically receive his lap back on the restart ONLY if the following rules are followed.
All drivers must keep track of themselves If you are the Lucky Dog Please type LD and make sure the administrator Replies. If you are awarded the lucky dog you MUST RESTART the race at the end of the longest line. This can be done by staying in the pits extra long, pitting 3rd time by or speeding out of the pits to receive an EOLL penalty.

LD is at the time the yellow flies, NOT after the pitting cycle that ensues.
No LD with 10 laps or less when the green flag flies.
The driver who brings out the yellow CANNOT get the LD

MANDATORY QUALIFYING FOR ALL DRIVERS (except points leader). Anyone who does not run a qual lap will be docked 25 points

Current Points Leader Will Not Run Qualifying Laps BONUS POINTS: Pole Winner- +10 Diehard Racer +5

Penalty Enforcement-Series director will review the replay for caution causing incidents, it is up to the race participants to submit a protest to the DOC for any other rules infractions witnessed if you deem it necessary.


All Policies and Regulations Will Be Administered/Enforced In Accordance With ASRL Rules.

To join and race in the ASRL Truck Series, you must first be an ASRL member.  Then, register to drive in this series and upload a car file via the RPM Member Edit' link provided at the top of the page.  Then, visit this site and the ASRL Forum each week to view important info including track versions and any other special instructions.
